CHICHEN ITZA
According to research, Chichen Itza was built around 800 BC, designated a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.
The Itza chichen pyramid is the most popular destination in Mexico. Of course, because of its uniqueness. The Yucatan pyramid is guarded by UNESCO. Chichen Itza could be the largest site of the Maya, the most famous and most accessible. The pyramid is located about 125 KM from the cities of Cancun and Conzumel. Approximately 1.4 million tourists visit Chichen Itza each year. chichen Itza is east of Yucatan State in Mexico.
Chichen Itza itself is the name of the site. While the pyramid is named El Castillo. In virtual language Itza chichen means "being in the mouth of the well of Itza". This is derived from the word "chi" which means mouth or periphery, "ch'en" which means well. Whereas Itza itself is a nasab of certain ethnic groups which have dominance in the field of economics and politics there.
This Itza chichen pyramid has four sides. Each of the four has 365 steps or steps that represent the year of the sun. Also has 52 panels representing the number of weeks.
Virtual sports that are quite famous are sports that use a ball the size of a soccer ball. They have their own rules for the sport. One sculpture even shows one of the captains of the losing team being beheaded.
The site also has a sacred well, astronomical observatory, the fighters' temples, and other relics.
Some archeologists, in the late 80s concluded that, unlike politics in the Maya, they were not governed by individual rulers or dynastic descendants, but were structured by a multepal system. This multepal system is characterized by deliberation-based power from a certain elite group that has a particular lineage.
This theory was quite popular among archeologists in the 90s. But lately, the multepal system has been questioned.
Mayan civilizations include civilizations that have advanced technology in their day. They have extraordinary astronomical knowledge in their day. Long before Nicholas Copernicus said that the earth was round and also the heliocentric theory which said that the sun was the center of the solar system, the virtual nation had said.
Viewed from the point of view of the present day, an observatory owned by a virtual nation, similar to today's observatium. For example the Kainuoka / El Caracol observatium, which is also located on the Chichen Itza site, has similarities to today's observations.
Some of the most amazing and horrifying things about Chichen Itza are the existence of two cenotes (natural wells). The place was used as a place to offer sacrifices. According to the news, the Maya offered jade, ceramics and even humans at the well. Even when the drought struck, they could sacrifice young girls to the well.
Until now we can still find remnants of influence from Maya culture. The culture is still attached to the people in the Yucatan Penisula region and partly in the Chiaps area. In fact, virtual native languages are still used in the dialect of their daily conversation. And it can still be translated by 4-6 million Yucatan residents. Chicen Itza, as another Maya heritage, is the center of a spiritual place. Many ritual offerings for the gods are performed here. History tells us that the Chicen Itza area was abandoned by the Mayans in 900m, along with the loss of 80% of the Mayans. Until now there has been no definite explanation about their disappearance.
